KRBC Christmas Eve AM Forecast

Updated: December 24, 2012
Tonight, clouds will begin to increase as the evening progresses and low temperatures should stay above the freezing mark for the last time for a few days.
Tomorrow, Christmas is going to be a rough one. The winds will shift to the north, strengthen, and a blast of cold air will make its way into our area with daytime highs having trouble even getting into the 40's. There is a chance for some precipitation, and the best chance of seeing any of it as snow on this Christmas will be north of the I-20 corridor. We may see a few flakes here in Abilene, but do not hold your breath.
Overnight on Tuesday into Wednesday, temperatures will dip down into the teens and with the winds, it will undoubtedly feel like it is in the single digits.
Wednesday will be another cold one with temperatures only climbing into the upper 30's and dipping back into the teens overnight.
We should warm up by Thursday and will see temperatures return to the 50's for daytime highs.
