"You know, you've seen the different flash mobs and this and that. So this was a mini version," said one of the organizers, Trevor Allen.
"I like to call it a flash carol," said Amy Allen, who also helped organized the event.
Though the purpose was to spread a little holiday cheer, the ninja carolers had a few more reasons for their caroling flash mob.
"Especially in light of everything that has happened recently in the last two weeks," said Amy.
"You hear about all of these tragedies going on in public places," said Trevor. "We wanted to try to bring some positivity in a public place to warm some herts, put some smiles on some faces to bring home."
Donning red, white and blue instead of the traditional red white and green.
"To kind of spread the spirit of America as well during the holiday season," explained Amy.
And of course, bringing some joy to those stressed out shoppers.
"It's the last shopping day. And I think everybody has that and cooking and relatives coming over and cleaning, they have all of those things on their mind, and we kind of wanted to bring it back to the reason that we're celebrating Christmas and just the positive nature of that," said Amy.
