Today we are starting out not as cold as the last few mornings, however we are watching a band of freezing rain track across the Big Country and may bring some frozen precip to our area this morning, however it should move through by 9 AM and then a clearing is expected for the remainder of the day. Temperatures should make their way into the mid 30's for daytime highs.

Tonight we will get back down into the low 20's under clear skies. The weekend is shaping up to be nice with mostly sunny skies expected all weekend long.

Saturday's high temperature should be in the upper 40's and Sunday's should be back into the low 50's.

Early Monday morning, most of our computer simulations are showing some precipitation moving into the area and this should affect most of the Big Country for the majority of Monday.

A chance of that rain will linger through Tuesday into the new year, and then we should be drying out by the middle of next week.
