One Dead After Three Car Accident Friday

By: BCHP News Staff
Updated: December 28, 2012
A cold drizzle was the scene for a deadly three car accident Friday morning.

It happened around 8:30 a.m. when a blue truck was driving west bound on Highway 80.

The driver lost control and hit a red van heading west bound.

The van hit the guard rail and flipped over, killing the driver.

The third car, a blue SUV, was behind the red van and also collided.

Officials say the three other men involved in the accident were taken away by ambulance, but at the time were all conscious and alert.

It still is unclear whether or not the icy, slick bridge played a factor in the accident.
