End of Year Sees Rise in Gas Prices

The cost of gasoline has gone back up for the end of the year.

Most Abilene stations are offering the lowest grade of self-service regular gas for slightly more than $3 per gallon.

GasBuddy.com reports that the state average is $3.10, that's six cents per gallon more than last week.

The national average is now $3.27 per gallon.

The national average for the year was $3.60. That's the most ever for the nation.
