Bishop Becomes New Taylor County Sheriff

Former Taylor County Sheriff's deputy Ricky Bishop was sworn in early Tuesday as the county's new Sheriff.

Bishop replaces Les Bruce, who served as sheriff the previous four years.

Sheriff Bishop says his priorities for the office will include more training for his deputies, and better security at the Taylor County Jail.
