The World Famous Harlem Globetrotters will play at the Brownwood Coliseum on Tuesday, January 29, at 7:00pm for one of the 270 games of their 2013 "You Write the Rules" World Tour. Bringing basketball, tricks and a lot of interaction with fans, the Globetrotters will play a game where the fans write the rules.

The Globetrotters are taking the sport and family entertainment to a whole new level of kid participation and fun as fans will decide the rules for the game that could affect the final outcome. For the first time ever, fans will be able to vote for the rules they want used at the game, which according to the Globetrotter's website, could be anything from playing with two basketballs at once, to getting double the points for each basket made.

Fans, as they purchase tickets online, will vote on the rule they want to see implemented in the game.  To purchase tickets and vote, click here.

Another great opportunity offered at the game will be the unique 30 minute pre-game show where fans who have purchased the "Magic pass" get to actually spend time on the court with the Globetrotters - shooting, trying out ball tricks, autographs and photos!  To be a part of this show, customers must have a game ticket AND Magic Pass for entry.  Soft/rubber soled shoes must be worn on court. Magic Pass takes place 5:30pm-6:00pm.

Doors for general admission and courtside seating will open at 6:00pm.

Tickets are on sale now at the following prices:

    Courtside  $43.00
    General Admission  $23.00
    Magic Pass*  $15.00

This year's Globetrotters roster features stars such as: Special K Daley, Big Easy Lofton, Flight Time Lang, Dizzy Grant, and Scooter Christensen - along with female star TNT Maddox and 7-foot-8 Tiny Sturgess, the Guinness World Record holder as the World's Tallest Professional Basketball Player.**

The North American leg of the 2013 "Your Write the Rules" World Tour tipped-off with the Globetrotters' first-ever game in Brooklyn, N.Y., on October 7, 2012, and will recommence on December 26, 2012.  The team will play over 270 games in nearly 240 cities in 45 states and nine Canadian provinces though April 2013.

Sponsored by Howard Johnson Hotels, Greyhound Lines, Spalding, and Russell Athletic, the Original Harlem Globetrotters will celebrate their 87th consecutive year in 2013, continuing a world famous tradition of ball handling wizardry, basketball artistry and one-of-a-kind family entertainment that continues to thrill fans of all ages. Throughout their history, the Globetrotters have showcased their iconic talents in 120 countries and territories on six continents, often breaking down cultural and societal barriers while providing fans with their first-ever basketball experience.
