Number of Building Permits Up

Though I-20 has been a big construction project in 2012, it wasn't the only one last year.

The number of non-residential building permits went up by exactly 100, with 466 in 2011 and 566 in 2012.

The numbers show a healthy up-tick in the number of buildings under construction within the past year.
