A clear start to this Thursday morning with temperatures well below freezing. As the day progresses, some clouds will begin to move into the area and temperatures should get into the mid 40's yet again.

The changes begin late tonight when an upper atmosphere low brings snow chances into our area. By midnight Abilene and areas to the South and West could be seeing flurries and they should persist into the morning hours. Overnight the temperature will dip back into the low 20's.

Tomorrow morning we could have some commuting issues, especially on overpasses and bridges. The snow should come to a close by midday tomorrow and skies will slowly clear out allowing temps to get to about 40 degrees.

We should be dry this weekend with high temps in the 50's and lows in the upper 20's.

Near 60 by next week and we are tracking the next storm system to affect our area by the middle of next week.
