As the day progresses, some clouds will begin to move into the area and temperatures should get into the mid 40s yet again.
The changes begin late Thursday night when an upper atmosphere low brings snow chances into our area.
By midnight, Abilene and areas to the south and west could be seeing flurries and they should persist into the morning hours.
Overnight, the temperature will dip back into the low 20s.
Friday morning we could have some commuting issues, especially on overpasses and bridges.
The snow should come to a close by midday Friday and skies will slowly clear out allowing temps to get to about 40 degrees.
We should be dry this weekend with high temps in the 50s and lows in the upper 20s.
It will be near 60 by next week, and we are tracking the next storm system to affect our area by the middle of next week.
