iPad Ripoffs

(WFLA) It was shocking enough when a St. Petersburg man found out the iPad he purchased from Walmart turned out to be a stack of pads of paper instead.

Now it turns out it wasn't an isolated incident.

The problem came to light when Patrick Metz said he bought one of those coveted, expensive Apple tablet computers for his wife, but she opened up the box to find just a stack of yellow notebook paper.

As crazy as that story sounds, Walmart said they've heard it before, they knew about the problem and that it was happening "all over."
