Man Indicted for October Stabbing

The man arrested for a north Abilene stabbing last October now has been indicted on several felony charges.

30-year-old Ray Luna was indicted on charges of aggravated assault, theft, assault of a public servant, and attempting to take a weapon from a police officer.

Luna was arrested last October in connection with a stabbing at Cobb Park.
 
The victim suffered serious knife wounds.
 
Police say Luna fought with the officers and tried to grab the gun from one of the officers.
 
The officers say they saw Luna trying to drive away from the scene when they first got there.
