Hobby Lobby Appreciation Day

By: Liz Gonzales
Updated: January 7, 2013
More than 60,000 people have signed up on Facebook to shop at the crafts store today as a sign of respect for the company's freedom of religion.

Hobby Lobby is owned by Evangelical David Green, who filed a lawsuit against the Obama administration's contraceptive mandate, which requires them to cover contraception, sterilization and Plan Bin their employees' health care.

Every day they don't comply with the mandate costs the company $1,300,000.

We spoke with Hobby Lobby's corporate publicist today who said they don't want to make any public statements at this point.
