The Holiday Hangover

What was once a booming holiday display has now been confined to just one aisle, with sale signs everywhere.

"I come and hunt the bargains so that I can put them up for next year," says Bonnie Huett.

Her mind is already past this Christmas and on to the next.

"I'm already thinking about who might go into what. Who might need the nicer wrapping paper as opposed to the not so nice wrapping paper," says Huett.

But it doesn't mean she wants Christmas to come back.

"I think I'm sort of ready for Christmas to be over," she explains.

And she's definitely not alone.

"Yeah I am pretty glad it's over. I'm glad it's over, yes," says Jennifer Parks.

Unfortunately for her Christmas hasn't fully begun.

"I went to New Jersey and New York City with my husband because he's working there and so we haven't celebrated with the family because he asked that we wait until he comes back," she explains.

And she's not exactly looking forward to it.

"We haven't opened gifts yet and it's kind of been a relief. It's like, do I want to open gifts?"

Even in different situations, the thought process seems to be the same.

"I don't look back," says Huett.

"Let's move forward, let's be in the now," says Parks.

But if there is any holiday fever left over, don't worry, Valentine's Day is right around the corner.
