Trailer Goes Up in Flames

Updated: January 7, 2013
People living in a travel trailer in west Abilene woke up to smoke and flames Sunday morning.

The fire department took the first 911 calls around 9 a.m.

When they arrived, they found flames shooting from one end of the trailer, but luckily, everyone inside was able to get out safely.

Crews put out the fire before any of the on-board propane tanks ignited, but the flames caused serious damage to the entire inside.
