How to Keep Your Guns Out of the Wrong Hands

By: BCHP News Staff
Updated: January 7, 2013
Last week in south Abilene, there was a report of guns and gun parts, including a magazine from an AK-47, stolen from a car after the drivers side window was shattered.

Another case involved burglars breaking into a house and taking guns.

With the debate on fire arms and the availability of firearms so hot right now across America, the owner of the Shootin' Shop says he can't understand why some gun owners don't lock up their guns.

However, on the other hand, he said if someone wants a gun bad enough they will find a way to get it.

The owner of the Shootin' Shop says if you have a gun in your car for protection, then do your best to conceal it and don't let anyone know it's there.

The same thing goes for your home; keep them out of sight when you have company because, more often than not, your gun will be taken by someone who knows its in your house
