You'd normally use Facebook to connect with friends, but Briana Jones is using it to meet complete strangers.

She's already got more than 90 new faces who are helping her help other people they've never met.

"I mean it's been amazing, kind of restores faith in humanity," said Jones.

Just a few weeks ago she opened the page Big Hearts for Little Hands.

The stay at home mom noticed many of her children's classmates needed winter clothes.

"I couldn't imagine as a parent not being able to provide a jacket for my child and not wanting to ask for help either," she said.

The site is a way for anyone to anonymously ask for donations.

It's quickly grown from just a few comments to a garage full of donations from jackets, to toys to even beds.

"I feel I don't know if it's a sense of accomplishment, like I know that I've done what I can," said Jones.

In fact it's growing quicker than she could have ever imagined.

"I've also had to learn like I cant help everyone and that's the hardest thing because I'm just one person," she said.

So Jones looking for a few extra hands to help because for her, the more help, the more families served.

"I don't want people feeling like it's embarrassing because you need a little help," said Jones.

Now she's got her work cut out for her with plenty of boxes coming in from people she's only met through Facebook.

"I feel like I'm supposed to be doing this," she said.

This common cause of helping others has provided a whole new bond for people who otherwise would have never met.

Jones next project is helping out a family in Fort Worth who lost all of their belongings in a fire.
