Clouds and rain on the increase this morning. Showers will begin in our southeastern counties and overspread the area by later today. Best chance of heavy rain will be late tonight and into tomorrow. Total rainfall amounts expected to range anywhere between one and two inches areawide. Locally higher and lower amounts are possible.

Skies clear on Wednesday, and temperatures warm. Highs near 70 on Friday. Much cooler for the weekend behind a strong cold front.
