A gloomy day is expected throughout the Big Country with showers likely by later this afternoon, and especially overnight.  The rain will start out light in nature before becoming moderate to heavy at times.  Rain totals will be anywhere between 1 to 2 inches in the Big Country, with three inches possible locally.  Highs on Tuesday will struggle to make it into the 50's, with mid 40's more attainable.  The showers will begin to taper off by Thursday morning, with cloudy skies in the afternoon.  More sunshine will prevail on Friday with the thermometer approaching 70 degrees.
