The Cooper Cougars didn't start district very well this year, but they are currently riding a 4-game winning streak in district play after losing their 1st 3 games.

Over the course of the season, head coach Marc Case passed a coaching milestone. He won his 400th game as a head coach.

Most of those victories came at either Cooper or Clyde High School.

"Honestly the players win those games. You try and put them in a position to win. Those milestones are nice, but they really don't mean anything. The next game, I'd trade all 400 for the next game," said head coach Marc Case.

"I actually didn't even know about it happening until my parents told me about it after the game. He doesn't really view it as a big milestone, " said Patrick Walls. "Obviously we were very excited for him, and we did congratulate him on the bus after that. You can tell by his attitude about it , that it he was happier about us getting the win than him getting his 400."

Case's total right now is 403. He goes for win number 404 on Friday night when his team takes on Lubbock Coronado up in Lubbock.
