The Lady Eagles picked up their sixth consecutive win in district Tuesday night with a victory over the Odessa High Lady Bronchos.

A strong start for the Lady Eagles helped get their night going. Capped off with a bucket by Jaime Flores, and a conversion on the free throw for a three point play. That helped get the Lady Eagles out to a 16 point lead over Odessa.

The Lady Bronchos would answer right back with a difficult layup of their own by Tanya McMaryion. That would cut the AHS lead by two, but it would be all Lady Eagles from there.

Abilene High go on to win it 40-19 and move to 6-3 in the district.
