Abilene High got things going with a jumper by Brennan Francis. The Bronchos would quickly answer with a three-pointer by Aaron McMaryion.
The Eagles though were not doing scoring. Some great ball movement helped find Darvan Bradford, who hit a jumper of his own.
In all the Eagles outscored the Bronchos 16-2 in the second quarter, and held on for the 51-49 victory in Odessa. That victory pushes the Eagles record in the district to 4-3 on the season.
