Rain has mostly stayed to our south and east overnight with several inches falling in the Brownwood/Coleman area overnight. The rain swath should move into Abilene by the morning hours and we should see off and on showers all day long. We could see some heavy rains and lightning throughout the day. Temperatures will peak in the upper 40's.

Tonight, the showers should come to a close overnight with maybe a few residual sprinkles in to the morning hours. Overnight lows in the upper 30's.

Clearing skies tomorrow and we should return to the mid 50's.

Upper 60's with mostly sunny skies on Friday and the weekend is shaping up to be nice with temps in the mid 50's.

A cold blast is expected by the early part of next week.
