Sweetwater Robotics Team to Compete in Lego Regional Championship Tournament

The Robotics Team for Sweetwater Intermediate School, Senior Soldiers, will be traveling to Dallas on Saturday, Jan. 12, for the First Lego League Regional Robotics Championship Tournament.

The team qualified on Dec. 8, in Ft. Worth.

Pictured from left to right are Jasen Nelson, Reese Hayes, Cooper Hrbacek, Carson Andrews, Tristan Baker and Rylan Hayes.

The team will compete in four areas including robot design, robot challenge, core values and project. 

This team advanced while receiving two advance placements in robot design and core values.
