Wylie Lady Bulldogs All About Defense

"Very defense oriented. We try to make sure we make it as hard as possible for the other team to score. Defensive toughness, and making teams work hard. If they score they have to really earn it." Says Head Coach Kurt Richardson.
"I think it's going to help us a lot because we are a more defense oriented team this year, and so I think we are stronger on defense than we are on offense." adds Hailey Brown.
"He's taught us that the best defense is a good offense and the same with an offense, the best offense is a good defense, so we are really taking pride in our defense this year and everything that pertains to that." adds Brittany McPherson.
The Lady Bulldogs entered the week ranked 18th in Class 3A. They continue District 4-3A play on Friday night when they host Big Spring at 6:15. The 6th ranked boys open district play against the Steers that night, too. That game starts at 7:30.
