Though Abilene only received about an inch of rain, there was a lot more rain east of the Big Country.

People in central Louisiana woke up Thursday morning to flooded streets.

Officials closed some schools in the Alexandria area today.

Several roadways throughout central Louisiana are also blocked off because of high water.

Canals are full and some are beginning to overflow because of the storm water.
