"They just have to be in our shoes to fully understand how much this has helped," said 17-year-old Jasmine Sanchez.

Pushups, running and lots of yelling. These are the sounds of Reality Invasion boot camp, taking bratty teens and turning them into respectable youth.
It looks like something straight out of a movie, but Haskell teenager Jasmine Sanchez says it changed her life.

"I used to be a horrible kid. Horrible," says Sanchez. "And now, I plan to join the Army, I leave in August. My life is great."

And so are the lives of more than a dozen other teens choosing to open up about the controversial boot camp. The legality of this harsh style is now the focus of an investigation. Sanchez claims it's that very style that finally caught her attention.

"When they yell in your face, it makes you realize they're wanting you to understand that what you are doing isn't okay," said Sanchez.

Whether police will tell Reality Invasion that what it's doing is not okay has yet to be seen, and while some may not understand the tactics behind the boot camp, Sanchez says she'd do it all over again.

"Some kids whenever they're good...they actually want to go back because it's actually that amazing. If I could go back, I would."

Abilene Police will hold a news conference Friday afternoon to discuss the status of their investigation.

If the youngsters are acting like they are on bath salts, they need to be tazed! All they have to do is follow instructions and stop playing violent video games. Don't put parents on charges for defending themselves against bad children. Put yourself in Instructor's position...they have parental consent and they are trained in the use of these devices. Some children need discipline and the news media shouldn't show bias on this issue. Why isn't anyone asking whether the children are on prozac or not?? That would explain a lot! Just like all the rash of shootings ...they are always on psychotropic meds. If the girl was out of control, then those around her have the right to defend and protect themselves, including parents and/or strangers. This is the real world!

my opinion all you boot camp fans if your sending your kid before your allowed to send your kid you, your spouse, and the people who run the boot camp need to be handcuffed and tasered in front of your 4 to 18 year old child then you can put them in boot camp don't put your kid through it if you wont take the hit too this tasering a kids pisses me off pushups jumping jacks ok but tasering put it to mom dad first.
