Updated: January 11, 2013
It happened just before 7 Thursday evening on Sayles Boulevard near South 4th street.

The driver of a pickup truck told police he did not see the person in the street until the collision.

Emergency units were sent to the scene, but the victim was dead.

Police traffic investigators are trying to figure out exactly what happened.

There was no identification found, so police are not sure who the victim is. They can only say it's a man, probably in his 30's.
