APD held a news conference Friday afternoon discussing the investigation of the Reality Invasion youth boot camp brought on by allegations of abuse.

During the conference, APD said they have identified three suspects and five victims.

Officers did admit to interviewing some children without the knowledge of the parents, but explained this was done because some of the parents were suspected of being in compliance with the alleged abuse.

Officers described the device allegedly used on the victims as a form of discipline, explaining that it was not a Taser as has been reported, which only delivers 50,000 volts. Rather, the electronic control device allegedly used on the victims delivers up to 1.2 million volts.

APD said that the parents signed forms authorizing the use of force on their children. Whether or not signing the forms will result in an investigation against the parents is yet to be seen, and based on whether the force used is considered excessive and the allegations are accurate.

Police did say, however, that some of the victims did have marks that were in accordance with the use of the electronic control device described.

The evidence will be presented to a grand jury.

Did you notice the fact that the Police Chief said that the stun gun the camp uses is 24 times more powerful than the one his officers use? Who shocks a four year old child!? A four year old is NOT a threat to a grown man. That is more than abuse, it is repulsive.

notice how the police man only showed how his taser(stun gun) works and not once did he even try to show the other one hmmm , could that be because they are trying to make this thing more than it really is cause they know if they said that the taser they used didnt even work fully then these numbers they are quoting are just a bunch of none sense ...i think so . all this [censored] is bogus and coming from a parent who havent seen their child in over 4 yrs thats how much he cared about them and now he wants to play daddy. where were you when your child was acting out , could it be that you was in jail yourself which is why your daughter has anger issues.again i say hmmm . lets get it together people this progam is a very good program i dont care what anyone says im behind them 100%

If the youngsters are acting like they are on bath salts, they need to be tazed! All they have to do is follow instructions and stop playing violent video games. Don't put parents on charges for defending themselves against bad children. Put yourself in Instructor's position...they have parental consent and they are trained in the use of these devices. Some children need discipline and the news media shouldn't show bias on this issue. Why isn't anyone asking whether the children are on prozac or not?? That would explain a lot! Just like all the rash of shootings ...they are always on psychotropic meds. If the girl was out of control, then those around her have the right to defend and protect themselves, including parents and/or strangers. This is the real world!
