By: Press Release
Updated: January 17, 2013
New Year, New You--Open your mind to creativity this year while addressing the most popular resolution--exercise.

On Thursday, January 17 beginning at 6 p.m., The Grace Museum will host the Sage Yoga Center for its next installment of Museum Matters.

Roxane Bennett, Special Programs Coordinator for The Grace Museum says, "This month's Museum Matters will show how Yoga can help you tap into creativity. It's going to be a great event that is open to the public."

Johanna Weltzin, a yoga instructor from Sage Yoga Center, will be the featured presenter. Weltzin suggests that participants wear comfy shoes and bring a yoga mat.

The Grace Museum is fully dedicated to the idea of connecting to the Abilene community in innovative ways. Creating new experiences in art, science and history is the core of their mission.

The Museum Matters program is about making those connections on a variety of topics by hosting a monthly free event on the third Thursday evening of each month.

Exclusive evenings with artists, scientists, researchers, historians, novelists, musicians, performers, and notable headliners will be presented to engage our community and out-of-town guests.
