City of Bangs Issues Boil Water Notice

The City of Bangs has issued a Boil Water Notice for all residents east of the Dollar General store.

City Manager Leo Smith says a broken water main has shut off all service to that part of town.

Repairs are currently underway, but once water is restored, all affected residents must boil their water prior to drinking or cooking.

This boil water notice will continue until the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality approves water samples, which will be Monday at the earliest.

Again, only Bangs residents east of Dollar General are affected.
