Dyess Airman to Face Court-Martial in Klapheke Case

Dyess Airman Christopher Perez will face a March Court-Martial trial, facing charges of child endangerment, child neglect and adultery.

Perez was living with Tiffany Klapheke on Dyess Air Force Base when her 22-month-old daughter, Tamryn, died from severe neglect in August, 2012.

Col. Glen VanHerck, 7th Bomb Wing commander, recommend Perez for a General Court-Martial on Friday, January 11, 2013.

The military trial will take place at Dyess on March 4.

Col. Donald Eller, military judge, assigned to the Central Region of the Air Force Trial Judiciary at Randolph AFB, Texas, will preside over the trial.
