Wylie Girls Pick Up Third District Win

The Wylie Lady Bulldogs picked up their third district win Friday night in a landslide victory over Big Spring.
At the beginning of the second half, the Lady Bulldogs already had a sizable lead when Punkin Mack found the basket. A short time later, off a block by Brittany Brewer and a transition assist by Peyton Sanders, Mack found the hoop one more time.
A little later in the third quarter the Lady Bulldogs demonstrated their ability to shooting from distance. First it was Makenley Lunsford with a three-pointer from the top of the key. Then Sanders found Brittany McPhearson for the triple.
Wylie would end up pouring on more points and picking up a 56-26 win over Big Spring.
