Grease Fire Shuts Down Sweetwater McDonald's

By: Homa Bash
Updated: January 14, 2013
A grease fire forced people in the McDonald's in Sweetwater out into the cold Sunday evening.

The 911 call came in just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Fire officials told KTAB there was no real fire damage and it was contained to the kitchen, but they did evacuate people inside as a precaution.

We're told the restaurant will likely be shut until Monday morning to assess damages.
