Callahan Country Lifts Burn Ban

Recent rains have not only contributed to the health and growth of grass and trees around the Big Country, but has helped ease fears of wild-fires.

Callahan Country Commissioner's met today and decided to lift the existing burn ban.

The recent rains left the Abilene area with about an inch of rain, with outlying areas around the Big Country receiving various amounts, some with flooding.
