Instructors No Longer to Use Stun Guns At Abilene Boot Camp

Instructors at Reality Invasion will no longer be able use stun guns on children once the camp resumes.

The boot camp is being investigated after instructors allegedly used a stun gun on several children to prevent assaults on other campers or instructors.

The founder of Reality Invasion, Paul Huntington, tells us that they have removed the stun gun from their waiver that parents sign to enroll their child.

Instead, they have added that they will call police if the child is a threat to the trainers or children.

"We just want to eliminate all problems," said Huntington, "so any problems, any issues that people might have.  Well the "taser"  (stun gun) has been that problem, well we took care of that problem, we took that problem out and we put a solution in there."

They have suspended meetings during the investigation.

However they say they will resume once the investigation is over.

Huntington tells us that those changes are effective immediately.

Abilene police were not involved in making those changes.

Police are investigating the program after five children showed signs of being shocked with a stun gun multiple times allegedly by instructors.

So far no arrests have been made, police say there are three suspects.

And what pray tell would the police do if they showed up? Tell them "Stop or I'll yell stop again"? That will get them to respect your authoritah. They are there because they could care less what the police and the law have to say about anything.
