Brownwood school district officials say they are taking a close look at their safety plans.

School board members made the decision at Monday night's meeting to do a two-week review of protocols on all campuses.

They're also working to create emergency crisis teams and streamline the response from area fire-fighters and law enforcement officers.

This is video from the last time they did a training drill at the high school. It was back in november.

The results of the safety review will be presented to the school board, along with a list of recommendations to improve.
