Last Day to Apply for Police Academy

Tuesday is the last day to apply for the next Abilene police academy. 

The police department plans to select about 15 new candidates for the academy.

It would start in June. 

Getting in requires passing a physical agility test, physiological examinations, and personal interviews.

All applications need to be in to city's human resources office by close of business today.
