By: BCHP News Staff
Updated: January 16, 2013
Officers of the Abilene Police Department assisted Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in an investigation at the Bonzai Japanese Steak House in Abilene.

At this time, the federal ICE agents working the case will only confirm that they are conducting an investigation at the local restaurant and that Bonzai was closed temporarily during lunch Wednesday.

A spokesperson for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement tells us Wednesday's events are just one part of their investigation which could last for several months.

No word yet on when the restaurant will reopen.
