The Hardin-Simmons University Cowboys return to the Mabee Complex for the 1st time in a month on Thursday night.

They need to get things turned around. Head coach Craig Carse's team has lost 2 straight by an average of 35 points and Concordia and Mary Hardin-Baylor both scored more than 100 points.

The question, how do they plan to get things turned in the right direction.

"This day-in-age kids are really reinforced by victory, and kids can be put in a down way with defeat. But I think kids are resiliant, and they put things behind them pretty quick. So, we feel excited to be back home," said head coach Craig Carse.

"We've go to totally forget about that game. You can kind of tell we gave up at the end. So, this game we've got to play defense and lock-up. That's really what it was. It was our defense against UMHB. So, We've picked up our defense a lot. Our offense shot the ball; it's our defense is a big key," said Andy Spears.

The Cowboys host Sul Ross State on Thursday night at the Mabee Complex. The men start at 7:30. The Cowgirls get the night started at 5:30.
