TxDot Installs Warning Lights on Ranger Hill

By: MicroplexNews.com
Updated: January 17, 2013
TxDOT is installing solar-powered beacon warning lights alerting drivers to the 65 mph speed limit along Ranger Hill.

The hill has had a 65 mph speed limit posted, but it's been the scene of many recent accidents.

Now it will have four flashing signs eastbound going down the hill, and two flashing signs on the westbound side going up the hill to warn drivers to slow down.

Comments

The only thing to slow down these speeders will be speed bumps or stop light. They will continue to speed! ! ! ! !
