Police in Waco arrested a man after a four hour stand-off.

Police in the nearby community of Woodway chased the man in a stolen car into Waco city limits.

Police say the man got out of the car and ran to a nearby house about 11:30 Wednesday night.

He barricaded himself inside a home near Interstate 35 and New Road.

Several people were inside, but they were able to get out without harm.

Waco police say the man refused to talk to them, so they used tear gas to get him out.

Police haven't yet said what he'll be charged with.
