Workers are busy repairing the damage caused by a traffic accident in northeast Abilene Wednesday night.

A pickup truck slammed into a house near the corner of Campus Court and East Ambler Avenue.

The driver was headed east when the truck swerved across the road and ran through a fence, a shed and hit the house.

There were no reports of anyone getting hurt, but there was quite a big of damage.

Police arrested 24-year-old Wesley Caskey.

They found him in the pickup when they arrived at the scene of the accident.

Caskey was charged with driving while intoxicated. Police say it's the second DWI arrest for the suspect and that enhances the charges.
