By: City of Abilene Press Release
Updated: January 18, 2013
Water service has been restored to the Eastland County Water Supply District and to the cities of Eastland and Ranger and those they provide water to.
01/17/13 Original Story
All citizens that receive water from the Eastland Country Water Supply District have been placed under an emergence notice to conserve water.
This includes the cities of Eastland and Ranger.
Due to a break in the raw water intake line which draws water from Lake Leon and feeds it to the Eastland County Water Supply District's treatment plant, ALL users of treated water from the City of Eastland water system are urged to immediately begin conserving water until further notice.
It is not known how long the repairs will take but as soon as the all clear is given the public will be notified.
For more information call City Hall at 254-629-8321.
