Teen Breaks Probation, Sentenced to Jail

The teen who violated his probation after shooting and killing his friend -- possibly during a game of Russian roulette -- was sentenced to two years in prison Thursday.

He had received a 7-year-probation sentence back in November for the shooting, but four days later a drug test found Fowler had marijuana and meth in his system.

He admitted to doing both and now he'll spend two years behind bars.

I wish you had a "disgusted" option on the 'Readers Feel' meter. Maybe during his incarceration he can think about acting responsibly; which from the sounds of it is not something he's ever tried. Some people haven't any respect for anyone or anything and I think he's one of those people. Go think about it young man... you have two years.

Really? Only two years in jail (a couple of days with good behavior) for murder? I guess it's a step up from probation. Did the people of Abilene elect this "judge"? If so, hopefully you send him/her looking into a different line of work during the next election.
