After Clouds Move on, Rains Continue to Cause Problems for Drivers

Moisture from recent rain and snow has caused more than just some temporary slick spots on roads.

According to officials at TxDOT, extra moisture combined with freezing temperatures and drought conditions have led to an increase in potholes.

City of Abilene road workers were out Thursday patching up a pothole at the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and State Street.

Severe potholes can disrupt your car's alignment, leading to a costly repair shop bill.

Major realignment repair can cost up to $400.
