Acadia Changing its Name

A local hospital is changing it's name.

Acadia will be re-named Abilene Behavioral Hospital.

Acadia has not given an official reason for the name change, but says it has been in the works for a while.

They have said, however, that despite the changes, their focus continues to be on the care and well-being of their patients.
