Construction on New Sam's Club well underway.

Construction crews were hard at work once again Friday at the future site of the south Abilene Sam's Club store.

The store will be located at 5550 South Clack street, and is relatively close to the Abilene Regional Medical Center.

The City of Abilene is also extending Memorial Drive to meet up with Antilley road in order to accommodate for the expected increase in traffic through the area.
