Abilene Celebrates MLK Day

The nation is celebrating Martin Luther King Junior day and there are some special events scheduled here in Abilene.

The annual march is scheduled for 1:30 Monday afternoon.

It will be at Highway 80 and Carver street.

US Congressman Randy Neugebauer and some Abilene ministers will address the crowd.

The group will march across the Martin Luther King Junior bridge on East Highway 80.

The 21st annual Martin Luther King Junior dinner is scheduled at the Abilene Civic Center at 6 o-clock Monday evening.
