People in the community of Bangs in Brown County are working to raise money for a family whose home was destroyed last week.

A fire destroyed the home of the Fuque family last week.

They escaped unhurt, but the fire destroyed their home and virtually everything inside of it.

Friends of the family have set up a donation account at Texas Bank in Bangs and are hosting a fundraiser at the Brownwood Chick-fil-A restaurant.

The restaurant there will donate 15 percent of the money they get from 5 until 8 o'clock Monday evening to the family of six.
